is all set to launch its
Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G
smartphone soon in China. Now, the company has released official renders of the upcoming smartwatch ahead of launch. The render images shared by the company show the back panel of the smartphone. The rear of the device sports a turquoise colour on top and a shade of peach at the bottom.
The images also highlight that the smartphone comes with a quad-rear camera setup placed inside a circular module. It is expected that the smartphone might sport a 108MP primary shooter. The official renders were shared by the Redmi general manager Lu Weibing on Weibo. The images also show that the smartphone will come equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The smartphone was recently spotted on the benchmarking website GeekBench. The listing suggests that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G phone may run on Android 10 operating system. It is likely to pack 8GB of RAM, although previous leaks hinted at 12GB of RAM on the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. As per the Geekbench listing, the upcoming phone has 645 score in the single-core test and 1963 score in the multi-core test.
Other specs expected on the device are a 108MP primary rear camera and a 16MP in-display camera at the front. It is rumoured that Xiaomi may launch three phones under the Redmi Note 9 series. One of them could be the Redmi Note 5G which is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset.
The handset is said to offer a 6.53-inch full HD+ screen and may come in three RAM models- 4GB, 6GB and 8GB. The smartphone is expected to offer three storage options- 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. Likely to house a 5,000mAh battery, the Redmi Note 9 5G phone is said to be equipped with a 48MP primary camera. Black, Red, Blue, Pink, White, Green, Purple and Silver are the colour options tipped.
