NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has expanded its laptop lineup with the launch of Mi Notebook Pro 15 (2020) in China. The laptop comes with a starting price tag of RMB 5,999 (Rs 64,300) and it already up for sale in China.
Mi Notebook Pro 15 (2020) specifications
The Mi Notebook Pro 15 (2020) comes with a 15.6-inch full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass on top. The device is powered by the 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor with UHD Graphics 620.
The laptop packs 16GB of DDR4 RAM and 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD storage. It sports a built-in 1MP HD webcam and digital array microphone. The Mi Notebook Pro 15 (2020) runs Windows 10 Home operating system and is backed by a 60Wh battery with 1C fast charger. The company claims that the device can charge up to 50% in 40 minutes.
The Mi Notebook Pro 15 (2020) comes with an improved cooling system and it also offers dual cooling pipe with dual fans and a larger heat conduction area. The laptop comes with 2.5W speakers which are tuned by Harman and also offer support from Dolby Atmos. The features a backlit keyboard and also comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor.
In terms of connectivity, the device offers WiFi, Bluetooth, USB Type C, 3-in-1 card reader, HDMI, and USB 3.1 ports.
Recently, Xiaomi entered the laptop segment in India with the launch of Mi NoteBook series. The company has launched two new laptops — Mi NoteBook and Mi NoteBook Horizon Edition in four variants in the Indian market. The Mi NoteBook 14 comes with a starting price tag of 41,999, while the Mi NoteBook 14 Horizon Edition’s price starts at Rs 54,999. Both the laptops come preloaded with Windows 10 Home Edition.
