NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker
earlier this year confirmed that it will bring more Mi series smartphones in India. Staying true to its word, the company launched its flagship smartphone Mi 10 5G in the country. Now, it seems that the company is gearing up for the launch of another Mi series smartphone in India.
Xiaomi is expected to launch the Mi 10i which is said to be the rebranded version of the Mi Note 10 Lite which the company has already launched in the European market. As reported by Gizmochina, Xiaomi is planning to soon launch the smartphone in India. The report adds that the Mi 10i is the rebranded version of the Mi 10 Note Lite. However, the company has not yet made any official announcement about the launch, but it is expected to happen soon.
Along with this, the report also adds that Xiaomi might price the smartphone under Rs 20,000 in order to give competition to the recently launched OnePlus Nord.
Xiaomi Mi 10i specifications
Considering that Mi 10i is the rebranded version of the Mi Note 10 Lite, then it is possible that the smartphone will come with the same set to specifications. The Xiaomi Mi 10i comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ display with a 1080x2340 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own MIUI 12.
Xiaomi Mi 10i sports a quad-camera setup which comprises of 64MP main sensor with f/1.89 aperture, dual flash, 8MP ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 2MP 2cm macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. There is also a 16MP front camera for selfies.
The smartphone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5260 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
