Xiaomi has launched a new variant of its
Redmi 8A Dual
which comes with 3GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The new model is priced at Rs 8,999 and will go on sale on June 15 at 12pm. It will be available on the company’s official website Mi.com along with Amazon and offline stores across the country.
The new variant of Redmi 8A Dual was announced by Xiaomi India MD and Global VP, Manu Kumar Jain via a post on Twitter. “DUMDAAR update! Desh Ka Dumdaar Smartphone #Redmi8ADual in now #DoubleDumdaar!..Happy to share that we're introducing 3+64GB storage option for India's most-loved phone. More storage gives you more DUM to do more things! Grab yours on 15th,” read Jain’s tweet.

To recall, the
Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual
was launched in February this year. The company then announced two models of the phone- 2GB and 3GB with 32GB internal storage. Both these models are priced at Rs 6,499 and Rs 6,999.
Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual: Specifications
The smartphone comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ IPS display. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and runs on Android 9 Pie operating system. Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual offers dual rear camera setup with 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The device is backed by 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
The smartphone offers 4G, VoLTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type C as connectivity options. The smartphone also offers support for wireless FM Radio. For selfies, the handset comes equipped with an 8MP camera at the front. As said above, the device has 32GB and 64GB internal storage which can be expanded further by up to 512GB using microSD card.
