Xiaomi has started rolling out
software update for its users in India. The rollout that begins this month will be available on seven Xiaomi smartphones initially. These include

MIUI 12 update
brings new UI experience with system-wide animations and visualizations. It introduces the App drawer feature that sorts apps by categories automatically. The Dark Mode on MIUI 12 covers both system applications as well as third-party apps and can automatically adjust according to the ambient lighting.
The latest MIUI update enables one to remove sensitive information like location and metadata before sharing a picture with anyone. It allows one to delete a screenshot automatically after sharing. There is also an ultra-battery saver that allows one to extend the phone’s standby time and reduce power consumption. Xiaomi claims that at 5%, the phone can last for an additional 5 hours with this feature.
Other features include smooth animations with improved details, new calendar features and Super Wallpaper feature. It also introduces a new weather app that recreates the current climate in the UI. MIUI 12 brings a built-in casting tool and has a private casting mode wherein private notification pop ups won’t be casted.
Xiaomi MIUI 12 update brings Magic Clone feature to the Mi 10. The feature will allow users to create and make virtual doppelgangers images or videos more interesting. Available under “More” in MIUI 12’s Camera app, using this feature one can capture the same person up to four times at different intervals of time. From a camera perspective,
along with other Xiaomi devices will feature vlog mode and AI watermark.
