The company has now announced the roadmap for Android 11 — the latest edition of the Android operating system update — confirming which Nokia-branded handset will receive the update and their expected timeline.
Announcing in a tweet via its official Nokia Mobile Twitter account, the company announced, “We’ve released over 1000 updates in the past 3 years as part of our Pure, Secure and Up-To-Date pledge, keeping your device safe and protected with the latest Android releases. Here’s to the next 1000!”

In Q1 2020, five Nokia handsets — Nokia 1.3, Nokia 4.2, Nokia 2.4, Nokia 2.3 and Nokia 3.4 — are expected to update. After this, Nokia 3.2, Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 are said to get the update before the beginning of Q2 2021. Lastly, in Q2 2020, two Nokia smartphones — Nokia 1 and Nokia 9 PureView — will get the update.
