has become an absolute necessity in today’s world. Masks are essential to protect yourself and it is advisable to wear them every time you step out of your homes or are in any public space. A lot of views have been shared on what sort of mask is good or helpful but the consensus as that one just needs to cover their face properly.
Bill Gates was recently asked about what kind of masks he wears. Gates in an interview with Wired said that he uses a “pretty ugly normal mask.”
Gates also said that he changes his mask every day and it is the normal “surgical-looking mask” which he wears on a daily basis. “Maybe I should get a designer mask or something creative,” he added.
co-founder also spoke about when he thinks the pandemic is likely to end. He said that the innovation being done on vaccines and other things is quite impressive and “that makes me feel like, for the rich world, we should largely be able to end this thing by the end of 2021, and for the world at large by the end of 2022,” he said.
Gates was also asked about Microsoft’s proposed deal to take over
— an app that has been under fire in countries like India and the US. He called the deal a “poisoned chalice” and said, “who knows what’s going to happen with that deal.” Gates further said that being in the social media business is “no simple game.”
Gates was asked whether he is vary about Microsoft getting into the social media game. He replied, “This may sound self-serving, but I think that the game being more competitive is probably a good thing.” The co-founder of Microsoft said that the whole idea of the Trump administration getting a ‘cut’ from the deal and the dynamics of it is a bit confusing. “I agree that the principle this is proceeding on is singly strange. The cut thing, that’s doubly strange. Anyway, Microsoft will have to deal with all of that,” he told Wired.
