’s website ahead of an official launch that is set to happen on June 24.
These two wireless headphones have been launched in the global market already and the listing on India website is being taken as an indication of an imminent launch of the products in the country as both are listed to be ‘available soon.’
Starting with the WF-SP800N first, the headphones come with a soft-cushioned arc supporter. They come with an IP55 rating and are claimed to last up to 9 hours on a single charge and additional 9 hours with the charging case. The headphones come with digital noise cancelling and a dedicated ambient sound mode. They come with gesture support functions such as play, stop, or skip. You also get virtual assistant support with them. In the India website, they are listed to be available in Black colour option. To recall, they were launched in May at $199 (approximately Rs. 15,100).
Moving on to the WF-XB700, these truly wireless headphones are listed in Blue and Black colour options on Sony India website and come with IPX4 rating. On the battery front, it is said to last up to 18 hours with the use of the charging case. Sony even claims that a 10 minute charges said to deliver up to 60 minutes of playback. On each earbud, there is a single button that lets users play, stop, perform other functions. They can also access Voice Assistant through these buttons.
As mentioned, the official launch date for these headphones is June 24.
