is gearing up for its next big launch event — Galaxy Unpacked 2020. Now a fresh leak has revealed that the company will organise the virtual launch event on August 5. The company is now expected to launch a new version of its Galaxy Z Flip smartphone at the event.
Leakster Jon Prosser revealed in a tweet that Samsung will organise its Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5 and the company will launch the Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Fold 2, and the 5G variant of its Galaxy Z Flip smartphone.
The interesting thing to note here is that the present Galaxy Z Flip is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor and it only has LTE support. So, it’s not clear whether Samsung will upgrade the processor or it will make room for a 5G modem and antennas in the same chipset. Some earlier leaks also revealed that the 5G variant of
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip
will come with 256GB as the base storage variant. It is also expected that the company might also introduce a new brown colour.
It is expected that Samsung might launch Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 20+, and the second generation Galaxy Fold smartphone at the Unpacked 2020 event.
A recent report by Sammobile revealed that it might introduce a 16GB RAM variant of both Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20+ smartphones. Both the Note series smartphones are said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and feature QHD display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
A recent report by Sammobile revealed that Samsung is planning to launch its Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live next month. Galaxy Buds Live is said to be the successor of the Galaxy Buds+ and the main highlight of the earbuds is its design. On the other hand, Galaxy Watch 3 is said to be the costliest smartwatch of the company.
