NEW DELHI: Recently, an online report revealed that
might launch the Galaxy Watch 3 and Galaxy Buds Live next month. Now the upcoming smartwatch made an appearance on the certification website FCC revealing some of its key specifications and design elements.
As per the listing of the website, the
Samsung Galaxy Watch 3
will come in two different sizes — 41mm band with a 1.2-inch display and a 45mm band with a 1.4-inch display. Both the display sizes are slightly bigger as compared to the original Galaxy Watch. The display of the wearable will be protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass DX.
The listing also reveals that both the variants of the smartwatch will pack 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. The device will also offer support got LTE and GPS. The device is also said to feature Samsung’s rotating bezel design. The Galaxy Watch 3 will come in stainless steel and titanium variants and will run Wizen 5.5 operating system out-of-the-box. The smartwatch will also come with an IP68 rating which will make the wearable water-resistant.
The Galaxy Watch 3 is said to come equipped with a heart rate sensor with 8 pulse-reading photodiodes and is also expected to offer support for blood pressure monitoring. The listing suggests that the 41mm variant of the watch will be backed by a 247 mAh battery while the 45mm will house a 340 mAh battery.
Recently, Samsung launched its Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with S Pen support in India for Rs 27,999. It is up for pre-orders on Amazon and Samsung’s official website from June 8 to June 16. It is powered by an octa-core processor and runs One UI 2 based on Android operating system.
