After smartphones, South Korean tech giant
is said to expand its ‘Fan Edition’ moniker to tablets.
According to a report by Sammobile, the company is set to launch a Galaxy
Tab S7 FE
soon and just as it was the case with smartphones, it will be a stripped-down version of the flagship device.
Previous rumours about an alleged
Galaxy Tab S7
Lite or Galaxy Tab S7+ Lite or Galaxy Tab S7 XL Lite are not claimed to be not true, as per the report, as it claims that the mid-range tablet from Samsung will be called Galaxy Tab S7 FE.
According to Sammobile, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE has been spotted with part number EB-BT975ABY, which is the same as the Galaxy Tab S7+. Its rated capacity is 9800mAh and the advertised capacity is 10090mAh.
As per earlier reports, the alleged Galaxy Tab S7 FE may sport a 12.4-inch TFT LCD display of 1600 x 2560p resolution and offer S Pen support.
Said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, one of the variants of the Galaxy Tab S7 FE is said to offer 4GB RAM.
Just last month, it was reported that Samsung is also working on launching a tri-folding tablet.
It was claimed by Lets Go Digital that the company has registered for a trademark with the EUIPO which hints that Samsung is planning to launch a foldable tablet under its Galaxy Z Fold series. It is said that the company will use ultra-thin glass to make the display of tablets.
