NEW DELHI: Consumer electronics giant
unveiled its cheapest 5G smartphone -- Galaxy A42 5G last month. However, at the time of showcasing the device the company did not reveal all the specifications of the smartphone. Samsung only showed some of the official images and talked little about the specs. But, now the company has shared a detailed infographic of the smartphone revealing all its specifications.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity U display. The device is powered by an octa-core by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB of RAM. The handset offers 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 1TB by adding a microSD card.
Samsung Galaxy A42 5G
runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company's own One UI. The handset comes with dual SIM functionality and sports a quad-rear camera setup.
The rear camera houses a 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 5MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 5MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The front house a 20MP selfie shooter with f/2.2 aperture.
The smartphone houses a 5000 mAh battery with 15W adaptive fast charging support. The handset comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and offers 5G, 4G, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB Type C as connectivity options. Samsung Galaxy A42 5G comes in three colour options-- Prism Dot Black, Prism Dot White and Prism Dot Gray.
