Using the new WhatsApp service, they can seek technical support for any Samsung product, get information about service centre locations, the status of a repair, new offers and also request for demo and installation of Samsung products they have just bought. The service will be available daily from 9 am to 6 pm.
The latest service, Samsung says, will strengthen its existing contactless customer service offerings in the country. Currently, the company offers remote support, live chat support, technical assistance over


and do-it-yourself videos on the Samsung Website and YouTube.
Remote support service is available to all Samsung smartphone and Smart TV users. As part of this service, a Samsung call centre agent can work on a consumer’s mobile or smart TV remotely through the internet and diagnose the issue online to provide instant resolution. The live chat offers support from trained agents and Artificial Intelligence (AI) based chatbot, without any wait time.
Under the technical assistance through call centre, expert call centre agents offer technical support over call to resolve the customer’s issue. Samsung users can also find product care tips and do-it-yourself videos on the Samsung website and on YouTube that offer solutions to common problems. Samsung also has a comprehensive app called the ‘Samsung Members’ with the option of live chat, placing service requests, tracking repair progress, remote support and phone diagnostics.
