Jio Glass weighs 75grams and connects to the smartphone to browse the internet. It comes with a high-resolution display and a cable to attach it to the phone. On the audio front, the Jio Glass features a personalised audio system and supports all standard audio formats.
Jio Glass supports more than 25 applications. It offers digital collaboration in both two-dimensional and three-dimensional avatars. One can also make holographic video calls using the Jio Glass. It can also be used to share presentations, design discussions and collaborations along with the live chat feature.
On the educational side, Jio Glass allows teachers and students to conduct holographic classrooms in 3D. “Jio Glass is making teachers and students come together in 3D virtual rooms and conduct holographic classes through our Jio Mixed Reality cloud in real-time. With JioGlass, the traditional way of learning Geography will now be History,” said Kiran Thomas, president, RIL, at the AGM event.
