’s Redmi brand has launched the
Redmi K30 Ultra
smartphone as the company’s 10th anniversary celebration in China. The smartphone comes at a starting price tag of 1999 yuan (Rs 21,470). It comes in Moonlight White, Midnight Black, and Mint Green colour options. The smartphone is up for pre-orders and will go on sale in the country starting August 14.
Redmi K30 Ultra specifications
Redmi K30 Ultra features a 6.67-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2400 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor paired with Mali-G77 GPU.
Redmi K30 Ultra comes in three variants — 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage and 8GB RAM and 256 storage. The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own MIUI 12. The dual-SIM handset comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and infrared sensor.
Redmi K30 Ultra sports a quad-camera setup which consists of 64MP main sensor with f/1.69 aperture, LED flash, 5MP (50mm equivalent) macro lens, 13MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, and 2MP depth sensor. The front is home to a 20MP selfie shooter.
The smartphone comes with stereo speakers and is backed by a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
Along with the Redmi K30 Ultra, Xiaomi also launched the Mi 10 Ultra, the smartphone offers 120W fast charging, 120-Hz refresh rate display and 120x zoom camera as well. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Xiaomi is also using VC liquid cooling and graphite for heat management so that the device doesn’t get too hot during gaming.
