has launched its latest Redmi series smartphone—

Redmi 9

in Europe. The smartphone comes with a starting price tag of 149 euros (Rs 12,800 roughly) and it comes in Ocean Green, Sunset Purple, and Carbon Gray colour options. The smartphone is already up for sale in the region.
Redmi 9 specifications
Redmi 9 features a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with 1080x2340 pixel resolution. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 processor with ARM Mali-G52 GPU. The smartphone packs 3GB/4GB of RAM and comes in two storage options 32GB and 64GB. Users can expand the storage up to 512GB by adding a microSD card.
Redmi 9 runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own MIUI 12. The smartphone sports a quad-camera setup which consists of a 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, 8MP 118° ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth, and 5MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. There’s also an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The smartphone comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and IR blaster. It is backed by a 5,020 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. On the connectivity front, the Redmi 9 offers dual 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and USB Type C.
Recently, Xiaomi launched its Mi Electric Toothbrush T100 in India. Priced at Rs 549, the electric toothbrush is currently available for crowdfunding on mi.com website. According to the company, the shipping will start on July 15. The toothbrush promises to offer 30 days of battery backup on a single charge. Along with this, the device also comes with fast charging support.
