Paytm First Games partners Riot Games for e-sports tournament

Riot Games

to organize what it claims to be the region's first Teamfight Tactics mobile tournament. The mobile gaming tournament will be held from June 17 to 21. As per the company, 512 Indian gamers will compete to win a prize pool of Rs 75,000/- in this first edition of the tournament. Interested gaming enthusiasts can participate in the game by registering on Paytm First Games app. The registrations are already live. The tournament will be held online. There will be multiple elimination formats depending upon the rounds.
Teamfight Tactics is an eight-person free-for-all strategy game where players combine League of Legends champions and items in different formations to defeat the seven other players in a match. Players tactically place an army of characters on a grid-shaped game board for a last-player-standing automated battle. Teamfight Tactics claims to have 80 million players globally.
