NEW DELHI: Chinese smartphone maker
has launched its all-new A-series smartphone — A12s in Cambodia. The company has priced the smartphone for US$ 129 (Rs 9,721) and it is already up for sale in the region.
The Oppo A12s comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ display with waterdrop notch and 720x1520 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
The Oppo A12s offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 9.0 Pie operating system topped with the company’s own ColorOS 6.1.
The Oppo A12s sports a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 5MP selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture. The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Oppo A12s is backed by a 4320mAh battery and it comes in two colour options — Blue and Grey. Measuring 155.9 x 75.5 x 8.3mm, the smartphone offer 4G, VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS as connectivity options.
Recently, Oppo teased the launch of its 125-watt fast charging technology. The company has announced that it will unveil the new charging technology on July 15. This is the first time that Oppo will be launching this fast charging technology. Last year in June, Oppo’s sister company Vivo introduced 120Watt Super FlashCharge technology which promises to charge a 4000mAh battery capacity phone in 13 minutes.
