With a new tease on Weibo,

Nubia

has thrown its hat into the ring with the RedMagic 5s when the battle for the gaming smartphones of this year is about to begin, as per a report by GizmoChina. Next Wednesday will see the unveiling of ROG Phone 3 and Lenovo Legion smartphones and now Nubia is the next challenger.
Nubia president Nick Fei posted the official teaser of the

Red Magic 5s

smartphone on Weibo. The phone is expected to come with

Qualcomm Snapdragon

865+ 5G SoC. Other details about the smartphone are not yet known and there has been no confirmation about the launch date either. Seems like the teases are going to continue for now, with the launch date being unveiled at a later date.
Apart from Snapdragon 865+, what else could we expect from the phone? Since Lenovo is expected to bring a 144Hz refresh rate display with the Legion phone and Asus too speculated to offer something better than 120Hz with the ROG Phone 3, the RedMagic 5s may feature a display of 120Hz or more. It may also have a LPDDR5 RAM and a bigger battery than the Red Magic 3s, which can be expected to be 6000mAh.
The latest

Nubia phone

to hit the Indian markets was the Red Magic 3S last year that came powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, a 90Hz refresh rate display and 5000mAh battery. The company didn’t bring the Red Magic 5 5G version to India.
