Tech giant Microsoft
launched two dual-screen devices — the Surface Duo and Surface Neo laptop last year. However, until now the devices are not available in the market yet. Now it seems that the company has decided to bring the
Surface Dup smartphone in the market soon.
The company was expected to release the Surface Duo smartphone in 2020 holidays but the release got delayed due to the ongoing pandemic situation. Now, a new report has revealed that the company could launch the smartphone next month.
According to a report by MSPoweruser, the Surface Duo is expected to release in July. The report is based on a tweet by Zac Bowden (@zacbowden), writer for Windows Central. Bowden’s tweet reveals that the company is planning to launch the device before the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2.
Microsoft Surface Duo
is said to come with dual 5.6-inch screens. The smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 6GB of RAM. The device is expected to come in two storage variants — 64GB and 256GB.
The smartphone is expected to be backed by a 3460mAh battery and it is said to come equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is said to sport an 11MP rear camera and run Android operating system.
