Earlier this week, the alleged
ROG Phone 3
surfaced on China's TENAA website revealing device specifications, features and overall stencil design of the phone. Now,
tipster Digital Chat Station
has posted a few images of the
on his Weibo page that reveals the actual design of the smartphone.
The image posted by the tipster only reveals the back of the alleged ROG Phone 3 and going by the images, the smartphone features almost identical design compared to its predecessor. The triple camera setup in a relatively bigger housing can be clearly seen in the images. As per the recent leak, the smartphone is expected to come with a 64MP primary sensor compared to 48MP from ROG Phone 2. The
ROG Phone 2
camera with a dual rear camera setup that includes a primary sensor and an ultra-wide sensor, so we can either expect to see a telephoto sensor or a dedicated depth sensor for better bokeh effect in ROG Phone 3.
The second photo posted on Weibo has a Tencent branding at the back of the phone that indicated towards a
of the smartphone. However, most likely, the Tencent edition of the phone will be limited to China only. The noticeable part here is the headphone jack at the bottom which creates a little confusion as the TENAA listing mentioned 'No headphone jack'. Which means either the leaked image of the smartphone is fake or the global version just doesn't have a headphone jack.
As of now,
has not confirmed any details about the upcoming gaming phone. The TENAA listing has already revealed that the smartphone is expected to feature an overclocked Snapdragon 865 processor with up to 16GB RAM and a 6000mAh battery and we can also expect to see a high refresh rate display as well.
