Updated: June 10, 2020 at 9:15 AMProtests broke out in cities across the United States and Europe after a white police officer in Minneapolis was recorded kneeling on the neck of George Floyd, an unarmed African-American man. Floyd died and the officer has been charged in the May 25, 2020 encounter. George Floyd was laid to rest on June 9, 2020 in his hometown, Houston.
