Taiwanese smartphone brand
has launched two new smartphones —
Desire 20 Pro
and U20 5G — in the company’s home country and are soon expected to be launched in other global markets as well. There are no official prices os the two handsets too but the product pages of both handsets are live revealing most of the specs.
HTC U20 5G
The HTC U20 5G smartphone marks the entry of the company into the 5G segment. The handset comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, which is the latest mid-range processor from Qualcomm, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
The HTC U20 5G has a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a punch hole selfie camera of 32MP with f/2.0 aperture. On the back, you get a quad-camera setup of 48MP (f/1.8 aperture), 8MP wide-angle camera sensor (f/2.2 aperture), 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture) and a 2MP macro sensor (f/2.4 aperture).
Backed by a 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charge support, the HTC U20 5G and runs on Android 10 operating system out of the box.
HTC Desire 20 Pro
Available in two colour options — Smoky Black, Pretty Blue — the HTC Desire 20 Pro comes with a 6.8-inch full HD+ display with 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor paired with 6GB RAM options and 128GB internal storage option. Users can further expand the storage by installing a microSD card.
The HTC Desire 20 Pro runs Android 10 operating system and is backed by a 5000 mAh with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charge support.
Coming to the camera, the Desire 20 Pro smartphone sports a quad rear camera setup with a 48MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP 118° wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with with f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP macro sensor with ff/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 25MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
