HMD Global, the company that has the license to manufacture and sell Nokia-banded handsets has launched its latest classic feature phone in India. Dubbed as
5310, the smartphone is a revamped version of the classic
Xpress Music launched back in 2007 and features a similar Black-Red and White-Red colour combinations with dedicated music control keys. The main highlight of the phone is the dual front firing speaker and it also comes with a MP3 player and FM radio.
Nokia 5310 pricing and availability
HMD Global has priced the smartphone at Rs 3,399 for the dual SIM variant and will be available in two colour options -- White/Red and Black/Red. The smartphone will go on pre-orders starting today on Nokia.com/phones and on Amazon India website. It will be available for purchase on both the platforms from June 23 onwards.
According to the company, the phone will only be available online for the first four weeks and later it will be made available across leading retail outlets in India.
Nokia 5310 features and specifications
As already mentioned, the smartphone comes with MP3 player, FM radio and dual front firing speaker. The smartphone features a 2.4-inch QVGA screen and a VGA camera with flash. It runs on Series 30+ operating system and offers 8MB RAM and 16MB internal storage with a microSD card support of up to 32GB. The phone is powered by MediaTek MT6260A processor.
It is backed by a 1200mAh battery that claims to offer up to 20.7 hours of talk time and up to 22 days of standby time. Connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth 3.0, Micro USB (USB 1.1) and 3.5mm audio jack.
