Symbolising freshness and nature, the colour green may just be the new black. With physical fashion weeks rolling out around the world, we've seen the colour make a splash on the runways in London and New York, with Rejina Pyo giving us Cali-style mini skirts and shirts in the neon hue, and Supriya Lele opting for lime green bralettes hanging by as much as a thread. The colour, typically associated with our favourite cartoon characters or sporty elements, grows a sophisticated edge for a trans-seasonal wardrobe.

It’s even won the nod of approval from luxury houses like Prada and Bottega Veneta, with Prada bringing back its iconic green and brown square print from the 1996 ready-to-wear collection, and Bottega Veneta adding a free-handed use of its ‘Bottega Green’ across bags and accessories.

Considering going green? Take a look at these labels and influencers who are wearing little to lots of lime green in their daily wardrobes.

With just a statement shoe or accessory in lime-green, you can add a splash of personality to your otherwise neutral outfit. If you’re feeling a little adventurous, you can go all out gingham in the colour like Chiarra Ferragni. The beach would be the perfect place to try out the colour as nothing screams summer more than this eye-popping hue. If you’re still on the fence, look to Olivia Culpo for a minimal yet bold look as she opts for a lime-green slip dress.
