Doom has been quite popular for being able to run a variety of wired hardwares even inside some games like

Minecraft

and more. Now, the game has been witnessed running on

Samsung Smart

refrigerator in its full glory via

Microsoft

xCloud service.
An

Instagram

user named Richard Mallard managed to run the Doom game on a Samsung Smart refrigerator that comes with a massive display that shows several information such as items inside the fridge, weather details and more. The user somehow sideloaded the Android version of

Xbox Game Pass

app in the fridge and played the Doom game in a video shared on his Instagram page.

According to the video, the Xbox Game Pass app runs in portrait mode on the fridge and the game runs in the landscape mode on the Samsung Smart refrigerator’s portrait screen. The game also runs on complete aspect ratio without chopping sides or edges of the game.
The users also paired a Xbox controller to play the game and according to the video, the controller also works fine with the fridge.
Samsung Smart refrigerator running xCloud is certainly not a normal thing and perhaps Microsoft and Samsung itself must not have thought of the idea, but it is certainly good to see that the xCloud service is flexible enough to run on different types of hardware without much issue.
