Dell has introduced the XPS 13 and XPS 13 2-in-1 devices with 11th-gen Tel Tiger Lake processors at a starting price of $999 and $1,249 respectively. Dell has mostly bumped up the specs. There’s upgraded memory and support for
Xe graphics. The design is mostly the same but the screen appears slightly bigger. The company has also launched a XPS 13 developer edition. This device comes with Ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Dell will also allow any XPS 13 user to download to use Ubuntu 20.04 LTS on their device whether it’s the developer edition or not.
Most of the other features of the
Dell XPS 13
are similar, however, there are new colours like silver with black carbon and a new shade of white. There’s no word as to when the 11th-gen Intel Tiger Lake processors powered Dell XPS 13 and XPS 13 2-in-1 will come to India.
Meanwhile, Dell recently launched its XPS 17 laptop in India. The XPS 17 9700 is priced at Rs 2,09,500 (including GST) onwards. The laptop is available on Amazon and Dell’s websites and on select Dell exclusive stores. Dell XPS 17 features 10th Gen Intel Core-i7 processors and up to Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Ti GPU. Its four-sided InfinityEdge display makes it smaller than 48% of 15-inch laptops, claims Dell. Under the hood lies a thermal design equipped with GORE Thermal Insulation for better fan airflow.
Dell XPS 17 is badged with Creator Edition on Dell.com to support hobbyists and creative enthusiasts. The laptop comes with the optional 4K Ultra HD+ (3840 x 2400) resolution. It comes with Eyesafe display technology to help reduce harmful blue light.
