Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain was admitted to the national capital's Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital last night due to high fever and breathing trouble, a day after he attended a meeting where Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal were present. He will be tested for coronavirus today.
In a tweet this morning, the 55-year-old AAP leader wrote: "Due to high grade fever and a sudden drop of my oxygen levels last night I have been admitted to RGSSH. Will keep everyone updated (sic)".

Replying to the post, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted in Hindi: "You kept serving the public 24*7 without taking care of yourself. Please take care of your health and get well soon."
Last week, Arvind Kejriwal had tested negative for coronavirus after he went into self-isolation at his home. He had a bout of fever and throat pain.
With over 42,000 COVID-19 cases, Delhi has the third highest number of infections in India.
On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his deputy Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, among other senior ministers and officials, had met to discuss the national capital response to coronavirus.
Yesterday, Amit Shah and Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Anil Baijal assured that there will be coronavirus testing for all in Delhi after an all-party meet amid rise in coronavirus cases in the national capital.
