CIAL confirms 7 repatriation flight operations on Thursday

KOCHI: On Friday,

the Cochin International Airport Limited

(CIAL) confirmed the operations of seven

repatriation flights

carrying 1580 passengers on Thursday. There were four relief flights from Kuwait alone on Thursday. Jazeera flight (J9 1405) landed at 1.29am with 160 passengers and the Kuwait Airways flight (KU1351) arrived at 5.33am with 320 passengers.
The Spicejet flight (SG7012) from Abudhabi arrived at 4.59am with 183 passengers. The second Jazeera flight (J9 4905) touched down at 8.05 am with 160 passengers onboard.
The Air India flight (AI 1938) from

Dammam

will land at 7.07 pm with 400 passengers onboard. The Go Air flight (G8 7066) from Kuwait via Bangalore will land at 7.27pm with 180 passengers. The Air India Express flight from Singapore (IX 483) will land at 10.15pm after a stopover at Madurai with 177 passengers.
The domestic terminal handled 11 arrival and 11 departure operations on Thursday. Two return trips to Mumbai, one return trip to Pune and one departure to Mumbai were cancelled.
CIAL schedules six international evacuation flights from

the Middle East

on Friday to evacuate around 1250 passengers. There will be four flights landing at CIAL on Saturday from Kuwait alone. Go Air operates two flights while Indigo and Kuwait Airways operate one flight each.
The Go Air (G8 7068) is scheduled for a landing at 3.30pm with 180 passengers and the second flight (G8 7072) carrying 180 passengers will arrive at 4.40pm. The Indigo flight (6E 9324) from Kuwait will land at 8pm with 180 passengers and Kuwait Airways flight (KU1351) will reach at 11.05pm with 350 passengers onboard. This flight will depart after one hour with 320 passengers, mainly healthcare professionals.
Air India will operate one chartered flight (AI 1926) from Doha which will arrive at 6pm with 180 passengers and Air India Express flight (IX1476) from Doha will reach Kochi at 11.05pm with 180 passengers.
