Battle royale game ‘
Call of Duty
: Mobile’ has teased a new map via its Twitter account. The tweet says: “Hope you're not afraid of heights.”
😜 Hope you're not afraid of heights. 👇 Dropping soon in the next season of #CODMobile! https://t.co/4adBh915sJ— Call of Duty: Mobile (@PlayCODMobile) 1593273600000
The map would be added in the next season of the game, i.e. season 8. From the looks of it, the map seems to be
, the classic map from Modern Warfare 2. If it is Highrise, then Call of Duty: Mobile has turned up the notch on gameplay as this map involves not just aiming down the sights but also keeping your balance as you move. As this involves a lot of parkour-like action, only that you will be carrying your weapon with you.
Compared to the maps that
already has, Highrise will be a lot more complex terrain-wise. First, it is jam-packed with crates, walls and other obstacles. Secondly, you could expect a lot of jumping action overhead as players seek out new vantage points that are less noticeable.
The latest season 7 of the game dropped on June 13 and added new game modes. These include Attack of the Undead and a new training mode. In Attack of the Undead mode, all those who join the game start as survivors, but one of them turns into the undead. If you get killed, you return as one of the undead and start hunting the survivors.
New maps like Tunisia and Beach Town were added with the update. Battle royale got new zones like Black Market, Downtown, Sanitarium, Ski Town, Frigid Wetlands, Harbor and Heat. A new vehicle Tank was added to battle royale. A new battle royale class called the Smoke Bomber also came with the update.
