Planning to buy a
device or have already purchased one, but not sure about its authenticity? Madhav Sheth, CEO, Realme Mobiles India has shared a method to check whether Realme products are original or not. Warning against
fake Realme products
being sold in the market, Sheth has asked users to verify original products on the company’s official website. In a post on microblogging site Twitter, Sheth said that strict legal action is being taken to stop the unauthorized sale of counterfeit Realme products.
“Beware guys!...Unauthorised fake #realme products are being sold in the market. Strict legal action is being taken to stop this...Request you to verify original products from http://realme.com,” wrote Sheth in his post on Twitter.

This is not the first time that issue of fake devices or websites has come to light. Realme has also warned its customers against a fraudulent website which claimed to offer franchise partnership on its behalf. "It has come to our notice that someone has created a website www.realmepartner.in asking for franchisee partnerships. We want to officially clarify that this is not owned and operated by realme and we do not take any responsibility of people doing business through this website. In the meantime we are taking necessary legal action against the owners of the portal," said the company in a press statement.
Earlier this year, Xiaomi India MD and Global VP Manu Kumar Jain too warned people about a fake website that is trying to cheat people. Sharing the information via a tweet, Jain had said that the company will take legal action against the creators of the website.
