NEW DELHI: State-owned telecom operator
has rolled out a new recharge plan for its prepaid subscribers. The telco has introduced the
of Rs 399 and it will be available for BSNL subscribers starting August 15.
Under the Rs 399 plan, BSNL is offering unlimited voice calls both local and national. The telecom operator has put a FUP limit of 250 minutes daily on calling. Once a user exhausts the daily limit then the calling rates of the base plan will apply. This means that users will be charged at Re 1 per minute for local calls made to BSNL mobile and landlines. On the other hand, subscribers will have to pay Rs 1.30 per minute for the calls made to other landline and STD numbers.
Along with this, the Rs 399 plan also offers 1GB data and 100 SMS per day, free BSNL tunes, and free Lokdhun content. The plan comes with the validity of 80 days. BSNL users can activate the plan via C-TOPUP, self-care, and Web portal.
Recently, BSNL introduced a new broadband plan of Rs 1,299 with a 22GB daily data limit. The plan costs Rs 1,299 per month and users can choose to avail the plan on monthly, yearly, 2-year, and 3-year advance payment options. The yearly advance payment will cost Rs 15,588, while the 2-year and 3-year payment will cost Rs 31,176 and Rs 46,764, respectively.
The service provider revealed that the plan will be available for the BSNL telecom circles except for Andaman and Nicobar and is now listed on BSNL’s official broadband website under BSNL Bharat Fiber Broadband Combo Tariffs section.
