launched its latest gaming smartphone — ROG Phone 3 -- in India last month. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage phone went on sale on August 6. Now the company has announced the availability of the 12GB RAM and 256GB variant. Asus has confirmed that the 12GB RAM variant will go on sale in the country starting August 21 at 12 PM on
. The company has priced the model at Rs 57,999.

Asus ROG Phone 3 is powered by the most powerful octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with Adreno 650 GPU. The smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch full HD+ display with a 1080x2340 pixel resolution. The display features a refresh rate of 144Hz with a 270Hz touch sampling rate and 25ms touch latency. It is protected by Corning Gorilla 6 and can attain a peak brightness level of 1000nits and is 113% DCI-P3 Delta E colour calibrated.
The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own ROG UI. The dual SIM smartphone sports a triple rear camera which comprises of 64MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 13MP 125˚ ultra-wide camera with f/2.4 aperture, and 5MP macro sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The front is home to a 24MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Asus ROG Phone 3 comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 6,000 mAh battery with 30W HyperCharge fast charging support. The smartphone comes with a 7-magnet stereo speaker with dual NXP TFA9874 smart amplifier and quad microphones with Asus Noise Reduction Technology.
The ROG Phone 3 has carried on some features like Air Triggers, dual USB Type-C ports, dual front-firing speakers, the glowing ROG logo at the back, and some software features like X-mode among others.
