Ubisoft recently made the in-game history tours for Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey and Origins free for a limited time period of May 14-21. The game developer recently tweeted about this. A UPlay account was mandatory for access to these tours as well. It clearly seems like the French developer is trying to get as many people as it can on its digital game service.
Ubisoft announced the Rainbow Six Siege Free Weekend last weekend itself, from June 11 to June 15. First time players and veterans alike could access the full maps and modes during these dates. There was about a 70% discount on the PC version of the game as well. Creating a Ubisoft account was a must to claim the free weekend and preload the game even if you tried joining through Facebook or Twitch.
Assassin’s Creed: Origins came out in 2017 and is the successor to Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate (2015). The game is set in sun-baked lands of Ancient Egypt.
