lineup in 2021 with OLED displays. With OLED screens, you can expect better brightness and colours on the upcoming iPad Pro. Apple is already said to be moving its iPad family to mini-LED screens and both LG Displays and

are developing new OLED screens for the upcoming iPad Pro models as per a report by TheElec. Apple has been using LCD displays or Liquid Retina screens for the iPad Pro range and now it may be time for upgrading the display.
The report claimed that Samsung Display is upgrading its production line to make the new OLED screens for iPad. Samsung is reportedly “adding a distribution chamber to the origin material deposition chamber to deposit red, green, and blue in tandem.” This will allow Samsung to create a new OLED structure which will ensure that the display panel lasts longer on the iPad Pro.
Meanwhile, Apple is also relying on Samsung for the foldable display panel to create its first foldable iPhone by 2022. Apple is reportedly gearing up to launch its first foldable iPhone in 2020 and is said to be in talks with suppliers in Taiwan like Hon Hai and Nippon Nippon. Hon Hai is one of the main suppliers and it is expected to be “most important assembly plant for Apple's first folding mobile phone”. Apple may use OLED or MicroLED panels for the first foldable iPhone.
Apart from the foldable display, Apple will be introducing a special type of bearing or hinge mechanism for the foldable iPhone. It’s supplier Nippon Nippon is working on creating the same.
