Apple sends out invites for WWDC, its first big online event of 2020

Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has sent out the invites for its virtual Worldwide Developers Conference (


) that will be held virtually. The invites have been sent out to the media for the keynote that will be held on June 22 at 10.30 pm IST. The event kickstarts on June 22 but will go on till June 26 for the developer community of more than 23 million.
“Join us for the first all-online WWDC, kicking off on June 22 with a Special Event Keynote coming to you from ‌Apple Park‌," reads the invitation.

Those interested in watching the keynote address live can tune in as it will be streamed live on, the Apple Developer app, the Apple Developer website, the Apple TV app, and YouTube.
At this year’s WWD conference, Apple is likely yo unveil the new versions of its different operating systems — iOS, iPad OS, macOS and watchOS — highlighting all the new features that will come to the


, iPads, MacBook and Apple Watch series products.
In a press statement that was issued last week, Apple has announced that this year’s WWDC, which is incidentally the 31st year foe such an event, will be the biggest WWDC event till date. The company also revealed the lineup for all the dates of the event.
Since hit year WWDC event will be an online-only event, it will give the developers a chance to request an appointment with the Apple engineers who helped build the latest advances in Apple platforms, offering one-on-one technical guidance and in-depth details on how to implement new features. Developer Labs will be open to Apple Developer Program members as space is available.
The next three days of the event will give the developers the ability to learn how to build the next generation of apps with more than 100 technical and design-focused sessions helmed by Apple engineers. Videos will be posted each day and made available in the Apple Developer app on iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV, as well as on the Apple Developer website.
