Cupertino-based tech giant Apple has released a new OS update for

iPhone

and

iPad

users globally. The new updates --

iOS 13.6.1

and iPadOS 13.6.1-- come a month after it rolled out

iOS

13.6.
These updates come with bug fixes rather than new features as described in the release notes shared in the update. This update comes with fixes for thermal management issues causing green tint and Exposure Notifications issue that was being disabled for some users.
Here is the complete changelog:
iOS 13.6.1 includes bug fixes for your iPhone.
* Addresses an issue where unneeded system data files might not be automatically deleted when available storage is low
* Fixes a thermal management issue that caused some displays to exhibit a green tint
* Fixes an issue where Exposure Notifications could be disabled for some users
Meanwhile, the company recently made available the public beta version of the

WatchOS

7, the next update for its Watch Series. Readers must note that the company has already made available the beta versions publicly of iOS 14, iPadOS 14 and macOS Big Sur.
Those who wish to install the WatchOS 7 update on their Apple Watches will be required to first update their iPhones to iOS 14. Also, users of only Apple Watch Series 3, Watch Series 4 and Watch Series 5 models can upgrade to WatchOS 7.
For those unaware, the WatchOS 7 was first unveiled by Apple at its first virtual WorldWide Developer Conference held in June.
