Apple has rolled out the Nearby feature to its Maps app for users in india. The feature is similar to

Nearby feature that helps users locate restaurants, groceries stores, banks and ATMs, and other places near them. The feature till date was available in select countries only. Now, Apple has expanded this list of a total of 45 countries that includes India as well.

, users can tap on the search bar to see nearby establishments like hospitals and more. They can also ask Siri to find nearby attractions, services and more. They can ask Siri like “Find a gas station” or “Find coffee near me”. The feature is currently available for a few users in the country and will be rolled out to all users in the coming days.
As mentioned above, the feature is now available to 45 countries that include Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Chile, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, El Salvador, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Macau, Mexico, Montserrat, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UK, USA and Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Apple is working on new features of its Maps app. The app will reportedly get a revamped Favourites feature which users can customise according to their preferences. The company is also said to be incorporating a new Lookaround feature in the Maps that will give users street-eye view of a particular area
