This is not the first time that there have been repeats teasing the possibility of a faster refresh rate on the upcoming iPhones. Last month, a report by EveryThingApple Pro claimed that XDA Developers’ Max Weinbach has said that the iPhone 12 Pro series will come with a 120Hz refresh rate.
As per that report, Apple will launch the
iPhone 12 Pro
with a 6.1-inch display and the iPhone 12 Pro Max with a 6.7-inch screen size. The report claims that the display will be able to shift dynamically in order to save the battery as per requirement.
Last month, YouTuber Jon Prosser claimed that the iPhone 12 Pro is going to house a 6.1-inch Samsung OLED Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion and 10-Bit colour depth. The iPhone 12 Pro Max on the other is just expected to differ in terms of the screen size with a 6.7-inch display.
Prosser also claimed that the iPhone 12 Pro will come in three storage variants of 128GB, 256GB and 512GB priced at $999, $1,099 and $1,299 respectively.
The iPhone 12 Pro models are said to offer a stainless steel body design and house a triple rear camera setup + LiDAR.
As of the cheaper iPhone 12 model, Prosser alleged that there are expected to be two models —
iPhone 12 Max
. While the former is said to house a 5.4-inch (BOE OLED) Super Retina display, the latter is expected to offer a 6.1-inch (BOE OLED) Super Retina display.
