NEW DELHI: As per a new report,
is said to be planning to complete the second phase of its EVT (Engineering Validation And Testing) for the
series by the end of June. This means that the company could start production by early July. According to a report by DigiTimes, all the
12 modes will enter the production stage next month.
If the report is true, then there are chances that Apple might launch the new
series in September as usual. On the other hand, popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has earlier said that the high-end models of the iPhone 12 series with
support might get delayed due to the production challenges.
It is expected that this year, Apple might launch two models in the iPhone 12 Pro series. The
in the Pro series will come with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays. On the other hand, there will be two non-Pro models with a screen size of 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch displays.
It is expected that the company might incorporate the new A14 chipset in the iPhone 12 series. The iPhones with 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch are said to pack 4GB of RAM. On the other hand, the iPhone with a 6.7-inch display is said to come with 6GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage. Rumours also suggest that this year the company will be replacing the 64GB storage variant with 128GB storage version.
It is also expected that this time Apple is going to improve
as it may come with a wider angle of view. Also, improved low-light photography, as well as image stabilisation, is also expected. This year’s iPhones may come with reduced size of the notch.
